Program Description:
Happy Pride Month! Celebrate Pride with Adventures Without Limits during our community Pride Paddle on the Willamette River. This program is open to all folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. Build new connections, relax in nature, and learn something new during this flat water kayaking trip. No previous experience necessary. AWL offers accessible programs and can provide adaptive gear to support a wide range of ability levels.
This is a guided kayaking program. Personal boats, paddles, and lifejackets are not permitted to ensure AWL staff's ability to support participants and manage the group. Registration is required to attend this event.
Transportation:
Transportation is $10/person. If you would like to use AWL's transportation and meet us at a centralized pick-up location (Beaverton Transit Center, 4108 SW Lombard Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005), please select a "Transportation Included" ticket when registering.
Itinerary:
9:00 AM - If you signed up to use AWL transportation, meet at pick-up location (Beaverton Transit Center, 4108 SW Lombard Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005)
10:00 AM - Arrive at Willamette Park in West Linn (1100 12th St, West Linn, OR 97068), welcome circle, instruction
10:30 AM - 1:30 PM - Time to Kayak!
1:30 PM - Return to shore, closing circle
2:00 PM - Depart Willamette Park
2:45 PM - Drop off at Beaverton Transit Center (if using AWL Transportation)
Inclusions:
Certified kayak instructors from Adventures Without Limits
Trip planning & logistics
All equipment (kayaks, paddles, PFDs, dry bags, first aid kits, safety gear, etc.) - personal boats, paddles, and lifejackets are not permitted
Adaptive equipment/outdoor gear (available with 7 days prior notice)
Exclusions:
Lunch/snacks/beverages
Personal items listed on the packing list

Look for a confirmation email ensuring that your registration is complete!
Participants will receive a registration email after they've completed the registration process. Liability Waivers and Gear Request Forms will be linked in the confirmation email. Participants MUST sign the electronic waiver and complete a gear request at least 7 days before the trip. If the participant signs the waiver or completes a gear request after this time frame, then we may not be able to accommodate any specific needs on the trip. If the participant fails to sign the waiver, they will not be permitted to join the trip.
