Program Description:
Learn to Cross Country Ski! Glide along on Cross Country Skis and join Adventures Without Limits expert guides as they share their favorite trails and then cozy up in the warming hut for lunch. No experience is necessary, just a sense of adventure and a love for being outdoors!
This event is open to the public, inclusive, and accessible to people of all abilities. We specialize in creating a welcoming space for a diverse sets of needs.
Transportation:
Participants can meet our team on-site at the trailhead or at a centralized pick-up location (Cherry Park Market Center - 2457 SW Cherry Park Rd, Troutdale, OR 97060). Transportation is $10/person. If you would like to use AWL's transportation and meet us a centralized pick-up location, please select a "Transportation Included" ticket when registering.
Our location is subject to change based on weather and trail conditions.
Please note: If driving yourself, winter conditions may require winter tires or chains, and you may need a Sno-Park pass for parking. Sno Park day passes can be purchased for $4 at the Hood View Thriftway in Welches, Joe's Donuts in Sandy, and at other convenience stores on your route to the mountain.
Itinerary:
8:00 AM- Meet at pickup location 1: Milky Way Building - Pacific University Pickup
9:00 AM- Meet at pickup location 2: Cherry Park Market Center in Troutdale
10:15 AM- Meet at Government Camp Rest Area (15-minute stop: change/bathrooms)
11:00 AM- Arrive at Teacup Nordic Sno Park, introductions, and ski instruction *Note: This location is subject to change depending on trail conditions and weather.
11:30 - 2:00 PM- Time for Skiing! (2-2.5 hrs of activity)
2:00 PM- Return to trailhead/closing circle
2:30 PM- Depart trailhead
3:45 PM- Drop off at Cherry Park Market Center
4:45 PM - Drop off at Pacific University

Participants will receive a registration email after they've completed the registration process. Liability Waivers and Gear Request Forms will be linked in the confirmation email. Participants MUST sign the electronic waiver and complete a gear request at least 7 days before the trip. If the participant signs the waiver or completes a gear request after this time frame, then we may not be able to accommodate any specific needs on the trip. If the participant fails to sign the waiver, they will not be permitted to join the trip
