Don’t be put off by the course name, The Award for Door Supervisors Course allows you to work in roles across the Security Industry, including Retail Security, Door Supervision, Corporate Security and Event Security. The Award for Door Supervisors Course is designed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to give people a complete overview of the Private Security Industry. 

This Course is a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT to obtain the SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

As of April 2021, this course has increased to 6 days to include the additional training requirements set out by the SIA, including the compulsory Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Qualification, which must be achieved prior to the commencement of any security training*.
