Adults Liverpool Songwriting Society 6 Week Block (Beginners)

Writer's Circle Beginners - This class is perfect for anyone who wants to start writing songs or has already begun their songwriting journey but hasn't yet released any original music or had their songs professionally produced.

Our songwriting circles are a welcoming community of aspiring songwritings to help you grow, connect with other writers, and develop your craft in one of the world's most iconic music cities. Whether you have a notebook full of lyrics, voice notes on your phone, or half-finished ideas, this is a supportive space to learn, share, and develop your songwriting.

Over the 6 week block you will:

• Learn new songwriting techniques each session.
• Gain confidence sharing your work.
• Receive constructive feedback on songs in progress.
• Meet other aspiring songwriters.
• Leave with ideas to help take your songs closer to being release-ready.

The session begins with a 30-minute songwriting technique workshop, introducing practical tools and creative exercises to develop your writing skills. The second half of the session is dedicated to circle sharing, where up to four members can share a song, lyric, or idea in progress and receive feedback and support from co creatives.

Dates and Times of the 6 week block:

- Wednesday 4th November, 11th November, 18th November, 25th November, 2nd December, 9th December 7pm - 8pm

Not sure if it's for you? Join us for a free taster session on 28 October 7pm - 8:30pm and experience what the Liverpool Songwriting Society is all about.
