This is why ANWA was created. Colllabing with JS Geddes Kitchen Showroom in Kilmarnock, bringing together four industry professionals across design, interiors, and construction for an honest, no-filter conversation about home renovation.

Ashley Lawson — Afta Interiors | Interior Architectural Designer

Ashley is a fully qualified Interior Architectural Designer, Founder of Afta Interiors. She works with homeowners across Ayrshire and Glasgow on full renovation projects, from concept through to completion. She started A Night with Afta because her clients kept coming to her overwhelmed and underinformed — and she wanted to change that.

Joanna Geddes — JS Geddes Kitchens

Joanna Geddes-Campbell  is Design Director at Kitchens by JS Geddes, an independent kitchen retailer specialising in beautifully designed, bespoke kitchens.

With a passion for combining creativity, functionality, and craftsmanship, Joanna works closely with clients to create spaces that reflect their lifestyles and personalities. On the night, Joanna will bring insights into the latest trends in kitchen design, practical advice on creating functional living spaces, and a wealth of experience in delivering exceptional customer-focused projects.

Natalie Raeside- Design and Decor

Natalie is an award-winning decorator and owner of Natalie Raeside Decor & Design, with over 20 years of experience transforming homes across Ayrshire, Glasgow and beyond. Named British Decorator of the Year, she has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, specialising in wallpaper installation and high-quality decorative finishes. Passionate about helping clients achieve beautiful, lasting results, Natalie combines traditional decorating skills with a keen eye for detail and a wealth of practical experience. On the night, she will share expert advice on wallpaper, decorative finishes and the important role professional decorating plays in bringing every interior project to life.

Andrew Hunter- Thomson Hunter Associates

With over two decades of experience as a fully qualified architect, and as co-director of Thomson Hunter Associates for the past 14 years, I specialize in bringing visionary spaces to life.

My architectural background spans a highly diverse range of sectors. I have designed everything from intimate domestic spaces to large, bespoke residences for high-profile clients. Locally, my commercial and industrial portfolio includes extensive work with Kilmarnock Football Club, The Park Hotel refurbishments, and Ayrshire College.

Despite this varied experience across large-scale and luxury markets, I consistently find domestic remodeling and extension projects to be the most deeply rewarding. Applying a grounded, client-first approach, I believe that transforming a family’s home carries profound importance and relevance to the end user. It is about creating spaces that truly enhance the way people live every day.
