After Dark Writer's Club Romance Writer's Social

Come and join us and find your new romance writing besties.

This is an in-person social meet up for aspiring and established romance writers to talk spice, swap tropes and come out of the shadows to talk with other romance readers and writers.

Whether you're crafting a slow burn, cosy romance, a sports romance hotter than last night's spicy marg or a taboo breaking dark romance with morally grey characters, we're inviting you to be part of the club.

You don't need any previous experience with writing. Just a love of books and a desire to write your own.

You're not going to be expected to share any writing. This is going to be a safe space to talk with others about your ideas with other like-minded people. We'll be doing a couple of activities to get to know one another. Think hen party vibes, not stuffy writer's club.

You don't have to worry about showing up alone. This is a welcoming space to talk about romance and spicy stuff without being embarrassed. Come alone, or bring a friend: it's up to you. Everyone is welcome.

Hosted by dark romantic thriller author Ramona Blake, the event is held at Hart & Co. a fun venue with mocktails and cocktails and a girly vibe. There’s even a party button in the bathroom to give you your own disco.

Ticket includes entrance to the social event, as well as access to the private whatsapp group afterwards, to carry on the conversation between events. We just ask that you buy a drink from the bar as a courtesy to the venue.
