AFTERGLOW Denver 2025

Event Information

We’re thrilled to welcome you to the fourth edition of AFTERGLOW—a beloved psychedelic gathering and fundraiser presented by Psygaia, our nonprofit dedicated to ecological and psychedelic healing—in partnership with The Flying Sage, for the MAPS Psychedelic Science conference.

For the uninitiated, AFTERGLOW is a special event inspired by Ken Kesey’s Acid Tests and the many mysterious, substance-assisted ceremonies held by human beings across time and place.

The night begins with a grounding, connective opening ceremony combining mindfulness, gentle breathwork, dyads, group sharing, and guided movement. Afterward, the event opens into an eclectic rave landscape of electronic music (ambient / house / techno / experimental / trance), massage therapy, art installations, light non-alcoholic refreshments and more.

The Event Timeline

- Doors open at 8:00 PM for unstructured mingling and connection.
- The opening ceremony begins at 9PM
- The opening ceremony ends at 11PM
- AFTERGLOW continues until approximately 3:00 AM

We ask that you arrive before 9PM or after 11PM, but not in between. 

Important Information

The AFTERGLOW community is built on values of compassion, community, respect, cognitive liberty, and risk reduction. Together, we strive to host a brave, welcoming, inclusive and safe space for all. Discrimination and prejudice of any kind are not tolerated.

The event will be staffed by a trained harm reduction crew, ensuring a supportive and safe experience for everyone.

Music will feature a journey through ambient, house, experimental, techno, and trance.
