It's almost that time of year when every bar from Porto to Portland will slap a clover on their pints and call it a party. 

But fear not, you needn't drown in a sea of oversized hats and false beards on Pink Street this year. 

Garden Collective is serving up a magical mix of art, music and culture from Ireland, Portugal and beyond for an Alternative St. Patrick's Day you'll never forget. 

Join us (a couple of days early) on March 15th, at Arroz Estúdios, from eight until late.

Lineup

San La Muerte Cumbia Club offers the tropical rhythms of Latin America, with a repertoire from Colombian, Argentinean, Mexican and Peruvian cumbias. Always in party mode, the band mixes cumbia's native roots and modern! iterations, for a celebration where everyone is invited to dance!

Lee Squires is a folk singer from London, now an active member of the Lisbon music scene. With a background in screenwriting and stand-up, his songs tell a story of melancholy and humour. By popular demand, he also performs 90s pop classics in the style of Bob Dylan.

R.Kitt is a producer and DJ from Dublin, Ireland. He has been at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene for the best part of a decade, DJing and performing at everything from DIY spots to the festival circuits in Ireland, London and Berlin.

DJ ESTRADOT (aka ROIBÍ) is a visual artist, self-proclaimed popstar and DJ. Playing a mix of queer dance music, baile funk, DNB and club excellence, ROIBÍ has been making the rounds through Ireland’s underground art/music scene and she is NOT slowing down.

DADDY is a friend of Garden and a friend of the dancefloor. Music from around the world and across genres. Catch them warming up early with some spicy jazz-funk fusions, hip hop and maybe a little summin extra.

Senhor Santos is the all round knob twister. Beginning in Cork, Ireland, almost a decade ago, he has played all across Portugal and Ireland, mixing cuts from the forgotten corners of record stores to more well known tracks along the way. Often Bubbly, sometimes dark, inevitably funky, possibly obscure, periodically catchy but always danceable, this is the Senhor Santos way.

@pjaere will be providing live visual through projection-based feedback loops and camera composition. He will create an experimental, on-the-go and improvisational backdrop to accompany the stageperformers of Garden Collective.

Está quase a chegar aquela altura do ano em que todos os bares, do Porto a Portland, põem um trevo nas cervejas e chamam-lhe festa.

Mas não tenha medo, este ano não precisa de se afogar num mar de chapéus enormes e barbas falsas na Pink Street.

O Garden Collective vai oferecer uma mistura mágica de arte, música e cultura da Irlanda, de Portugal e de outros países para um Dia de São Patrício alternativo que nunca esquecerá.

DADDY é_ um amigo de Garden e um amigo da pista de dança. Música de todo o mundo e de todos os géneros. Apanhe-os a aquecer cedo com algumas fusões picantes de jazz-funk, hip hop e talvez um pouco de summin extra.

O Senhor Santos. Começando em Cork, na Irlanda, há quase uma década, tocou por todo o Portugal e na Irlanda, misturando cortes de cantos esquecidos de lojas de discos com faixas mais conhecidas pelo caminho. Muitas vezes borbulhante, por vezes sombrio, inevitavelmente funky, possivelmente obscuro, periodicamente cativante, mas sempre dançante, este é o caminho do Senhor Santos.

@pjaere fornecerá imagens ao vivo através de loops de feedback baseados em projeção e composição de câmaras. Criará um cenário experimental, dinâmico e improvisado para acompanhar os artistas de palco do Garden Collective.
