⛪ Explore the cathedral, coastline and quiet streets of Britain’s smallest city.
Join us for a calm and culturally rich day in St Davids — Britain’s smallest city and one of Wales’s most beautiful coastal destinations. Our visit includes a guided tour of the magnificent St Davids Cathedral, where you’ll learn about its extraordinary history, architecture and stories spanning more than 1,400 years.
After the tour, enjoy plenty of free time to explore at your own pace — wander the tiny city centre, pause in a café, browse the shops, or take in the dramatic Pembrokeshire scenery just a short stroll away.
It’s a gentle, uplifting day that blends heritage, coastline and peaceful wandering.
✨ Cost: £50 per person — includes return coach travel and guided cathedral tour.
📅 Trip Date: Tuesday 30 June 2026
🚌 Travel Information
Let us know your preferred pickup area when you book — Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Porthcawl or Bridgend.
We’ll plan the most efficient route based on demand so we can keep pickup times short and get you to your destination faster. We need at least five people requesting a location for a pickup point to operate there.
How it works:
1️⃣ Tell us your preferred pickup point when you book.
2️⃣ We’ll confirm your final pickup location and time at least 7 days before the trip.
Your final stop may differ from your selection, but it will be the closest one that works for the route.
Our usual pickup points include:
• Swansea – Wellington Street
• Neath – Neath Train Station
• Port Talbot – Parkway Train Station
• Porthcawl – Outside The Beachcomber Restaurant
• Bridgend – McArthurGlen (Coach Bay)
Let us know what works best for you — we’ll do the rest.
👥 Booking with Friends?
If you want to travel with friends, make sure you book together under one booking.
We can’t guarantee you'll be on the same coach otherwise.
For each person travelling, we’ll need:
- Their full name and address
- Their contact number
- An emergency contact (Next of Kin) — someone who is not on the coach
This helps us keep everyone safe and informed.
💬 Who Can Come?
Coach Club trips are for anyone aged 50+ living in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot or Bridgend — whether you’re joining with friends, family, or just fancy a relaxed day out with us.
If you need a little support while you're out and about, you’re welcome to bring a companion aged 18 or over. They’ll need to book a ticket too and be able to support you throughout the day, as our staff and volunteers can’t provide personal care or mobility assistance.
We know everyone’s needs are individual — so if you’d like to talk anything through before booking, just give us a call. We’re always happy to help.
Everyone joining us must be able to take part independently, or attend with someone who can help them do so.
♿ Accessibility Notes
🚶♂️ Boarding: The coach has steps — passengers must be able to board independently.
🦽 Mobility: Sadly, this trip is not suitable for wheelchair users.
🚻 Toilet: If there is a toilet onboard, please note that access is via very steep steps, and availability cannot be guaranteed.
🕒 This is a longer journey with extended time seated. We’ll include comfort stops along the way.
