Agile methods don’t conflict with FDA regulations.
They often conflict with the way organizations interpret and implement those regulations.
The result?
- Teams delay documentation until the end.
- Quality and Engineering speak different languages.
- Releases become stressful.
- Audits feel risky.
This class shows how to work differently without compromising compliance.
By the end of the session you’ll be able to:
- Explain how Agile practices satisfy Design Controls
- Connect Agile artifacts and events to regulatory expectations
- Use Definition of Done as a compliance mechanism
- Treat backlog management as legitimate change control
- Reduce documentation bottlenecks without increasing audit risk
- Use language that resonates with Quality and auditors
- Distinguish regulatory requirements from organizational habits
Topics Include
- Design Controls in an Iterative Model
- “Any Sequence Will Do” (in practice)
- Definition of Done as a Control Mechanism
- Documentation Strategy
