A Heart for Duns AGM 2025

All are invited to the A Heart for Duns Annual General Meeting (AGM). 

The AGM is an opportunity to learn about our progress and achievements over the financial year April 2024 - March 2025. We'll also share future plans, and you'll be able to meet the charity's Trustees and meet other AHFD members. 

The meeting starts at 6pm, but join us from 5:45 for refreshments and view our exhibition about the history of Duns Volunteer Hall, which celebrates its 130th anniversary at the heart of the community in 2025! 

If you are not a member of A Heart for Duns, or are unsure if you are, then you can sign-up now, it's free and membership is open to all who live in post code areas TD10 and TD11.

Greener Duns film screening: Leaving It Better

Following our AGM, Greener Duns are screening Leaving It Better, a film from Tipping Point that brought together environmental campaigners from across North East England with a group of farmers from Upper Teesdale in the North Pennines. Over the course of a year the group met on farms in Teesdale to have conversations about the work and campaigns they’re involved in, and consider the impacts of their actions in the landscapes and communities that they live in.

The screening will start at 7:30pm, and is open to all. You can find more details here >
