Come and Sing Weekend at the Volunteer Hall

Singer registration is now open!

Following our successful performance of Hayden's Creation last year, A Heart For Duns are delighted to welcome back Kit Hobkirk to lead and conduct our next Come And Sing Event this October.
This year the Come and Sing performance will be Gabriel Faure's Requiem and Cantique De Jean Racine on Sunday evening 22 October at the Volunteer Hall in Duns.

The Come and Sing programme:

The rehearsals and concert will be held in the Volunteer Hall, Duns, and will be led by local conductor, Kit Hobkirk.

Saturday 21 October, 10am - 5pm

Sunday 22 October, 2pm until approx. 8pm

There will also be three optional rehearsal evenings on:

Wednesday 4 October, 7pm - 9pm

Wednesday 11 October, 7pm - 9pm

Wednesday 18 October, 7pm - 9pm

Participation fee: £40 (includes afternoon tea on the Sunday)
A ticketed concert of your performance will conclude the weekend starting at 6.30pm. The concert is open to the general public. Please invite friends and family to come and see you perform. Ticket sales for the concert will open soon!

Other information:

When registering, you can opt to:

• Book lunch on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm (at an extra cost of £5 per day) 
• Let us know any particular dietary requirements if your ordering lunch
• Hire the score for each piece at £1 per copy (£2 for both scores) - must be ordered by 24 September.
