AID Annual Championship | Evening Gala

The Australian Institute of Dancing (AID) warmly invites you to the AID Annual Championship, one of Australia’s most prestigious and long-standing Ballroom Dancing events. First held in 1951, this iconic competition continues to celebrate excellence, artistry, and tradition in dance.

Join us for a full day of spectacular competition, featuring a wide range of Ballroom and Latin events. The excitement continues into the gala evening session, showcasing a selection of Open Amateur Finals and Pro-Am events.

Our formal evening program includes a fabulous two-course meal accompanied by a full drinks package (beer, wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee). Competitors and guests will enjoy the elegance of live music performed by Phil Hatton and the South Perth Lions Band—a true highlight of the evening.

Competitors holding Day-Only tickets who qualify for evening events will receive complimentary admission to the night session (please note: seating and meal are not included).
