AID Blue Riband Championship

The Australian Institute of Dancing is delighted to welcome competitors, officials and spectators to the 2026 AID Blue Riband Championship.

Following the success of previous AID events in Bunbury, we are proud to once again present the Blue Riband Championship at the South-West Italian Club, bringing one of Western Australia's premier Ballroom Dancing competitions to the heart of the beautiful South-West region.

The Blue Riband Championship continues to provide dancers of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to compete in a friendly, professionally run environment while showcasing the very best of Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue dancing. From first-time competitors to experienced championship dancers, the event offers something for everyone and reflects the Australian Institute of Dancing's commitment to encouraging participation and excellence across every level of our sport.

By hosting this event in Bunbury, we hope not only to provide greater opportunities for dancers throughout regional Western Australia, but also to continue growing the profile of competitive Ballroom Dancing within the South-West. The enthusiastic support shown by the local community has made Bunbury an outstanding home for this event, and we look forward to welcoming dancers from across Western Australia and beyond to compete before an appreciative audience.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at the South-West Italian Club, 13 White Street, East Bunbury, for what promises to be another memorable day of competition, sportsmanship and dancing. As a DanceSport WA Rankings Event, eligible Open events will contribute towards competitors' DanceSport WA ranking points.

Spectator tickets are available online, with Early Bird pricing available until Sunday, 11 October 2026. Tickets can be purchased at buytickets.at/aiddance.

Competition entries can be submitted through the DanceSport Australia online entry system at dancesport.org.au.
