AIMS Workshop: The Foundation Stones for Supporting the Physiological Process in Pregnancy and Birth

Join us for one of our series of interactive online AIMS workshops "The Foundation Stones for Supporting the Physiological Process in Pregnancy and Birth".

In this workshop discussion we will:

• Share knowledge about Consent, Salutogenesis (including self-efficacy) and the autonomic nervous system and how these concepts hang together beautifully to provide a scientific and evidence-based rationale for supporting the physiological process in every pregnancy and birth situation.

• Discuss the implications for informing personal decision-making and that of others

• Reflect on the implications for practice as doulas, educators, midwives or doctors

Led by Alex Smith (AIMS Journal Editor and Helpline volunteer) and Nadia Higson (principal author of "The AIMS Guide to Induction of Labour")

The ticket price includes an £9 voucher for the AIMS shop so you can buy the book of your choice (or some notelets if you prefer) and we will cover the postage too.
