Introduction to manual turning

Sign up to a course of 3  x 3 hour evening classes on an introduction to the basic concepts of manual turning, and typical applications in today’s modern engineering environment.

This is a free vocational course open to individuals local to Dumfries and Galloway aged 19 - 67 (with provision for transitional school leavers) who are job seekers or students from a range of backgrounds and circumstances. We would like to support individuals who face challenges getting into employment, training or education. 

This course is free of charge, you do not require any experience or qualifications and we will provide refreshments on the day.  We may also be able to help you with transport, please get in touch by emailing aims@dumgal.gov.uk
