MAINTAINING YOUR AIRCOOLED VW (our old Level 2 Course)

This course is aimed at those that have already attended our GET TO KNOW YOUR AIRCOOLED VW or have a good understanding about how an aircooled vehicle works and would like to carry out their own maintenance

The content will be predominantly "hands on' and will cover the following topics:

Morning​ (All Hands On)

Electrical Fault Finding​​
Right Tools for the Job
Basic Electrical Checks
Tracing Faults​

Engine Tuning
Valve Clearances
Manual Timing
Using Strobe Timing Gun
Carb tuning

After Lunch (All Hands On)

Braking Systems
Brake Adjusting (different types)​
Brake Bleeding

Steering Systems​
Checking and adjusting​

We have 2 engines to work on in addition to brake and steering components

We will provide refreshments throughout the day and the workshop is held at our premises in Bolton BL2

The course is restricted to a maximum of 6 people to ensure everyone attending and we reserve the right to postpone the course if the number attending is less than 4.
