MBSE Around the World: What Works, What Fails, and Why
Model-Based Systems Engineering is widely recognized as a key enabler for managing complexity, but its implementation does not deliver the same results everywhere. Success depends not only on methods and tools, but also on organizational readiness, leadership, culture, governance, and the ability to translate models into real engineering value.
In this informal conversation, Tim Weilkiens, CEO of OOSE, will share insights from his international experience supporting MBSE adoption across different companies, industries, and countries. Together with Jaber Nikpouri, Director of Events at AISE, he will discuss recurring success factors, common implementation mistakes, organizational resistance, and the lessons learned from pioneering MBSE transformations in different environments.
The session will provide a practical and candid perspective on what helps MBSE succeed, why some initiatives struggle or fail, and how organizations can build a more effective and sustainable implementation approach.
