Culture is Medicine: An Evening with Dr. Gary Ferguson and the AKAND

Please join the AKAND for an evening of camaraderie and continuing education. We’ll have time to enjoy great local food and each other’s company, catch up on AKAND’s legislative efforts, and learn from AKAND member Dr. Gary Ferguson.

Tickets are $50 in advance and $65 at the door. The event is open to all.

ABSTRACT: Dr. Gary Ferguson has spent his career working in Tribal communities as a Naturopathic Doctor and Community Catalyst for Well-being. He has a passion for Population Health, supporting communities to find holistic answers to often seemingly intractable health disparities. In this talk, Dr. Ferguson will share insights from his work from promoting local, Traditional Foods to deeper concepts of healing our Ancestors and the planet.
