Workshop Design Sprint

Thu Jul 9, 2026 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT Online, Zoom

Build a Workshop That Actually Matters

Stop circling your idea. Start building it.

Most people spend months trying to figure out what to teach. This sprint helps you find the one thing that makes your workshop worth attending and get it out the door in a day.

A live, 2-hour virtual workshop for people who want to build an online workshop that's dynamic, engaging, community-driven and actually matters.

Small group, by design. Limited to 20 participants.

If you're thinking about creating a workshop, you might be wondering:

  • How do I create something that isn't just a series of videos?
  • Where do I even start?
  • What does it take to charge money?
  • How will I find the people who want to learn with me?

You're in the right place.

About the Workshop Design Sprint

A practical, hands-on session that gives you a clear roadmap and real momentum for creating a successful online workshop.

What you'll get:

  • A clear, tested path for turning your idea into a revenue-generating asset
  • Confidence about what to teach and how to teach it
  • A prototype and plan you can implement immediately

All without expensive consultants or months of trial and error.

Who This Is For

Workshop Design Sprint is designed for:

Coaches, Consultants, Service Providers, Trainers, Speakers, Educators, Creators, Influencers, Solopreneurs, and anyone who wants to transform their knowledge, skills, or experience into impact and income.

It's perfect if you want to create learning experiences that are:

  • Dynamic and not passive
  • Community-centric and not isolating
  • Respectful, human, experiential, and grounded in peer connection

If you care about the learning as much as you care about the business, you'll feel at home here.

What We'll Cover - The 7-Step Workshop Design Process

A clear, repeatable framework for turning your idea into a workshop you can launch, charge for, and run again.

Step 1: Filter your ideas

Run your idea through two questions: Is there a clear before and after? Is it something people would hire you for because it's hard to do alone? If you have multiple ideas, this filter helps you pick the one with the most traction right now.

Step 2: Find the crux

Identify the single mechanism or insight your participant is going to leave with. Not a topic - a shift. The crux is the promise worth their time. It's what creates the edge and makes people say "I need that."

Step 3: Choose your container

Make four decisions: date, length, format, and rhythm. Pick a format you're genuinely excited about - that energy transfers. Think about what your ideal participant can actually say yes to.

Step 4: Shape the learning arc

Use the story arc as your design tool. Map your 3-5 key concepts in sequence, then build each one using the lesson structure: short teaching, a real example or story, questions that open doors, an activity, and peer-to-peer sharing.

Step 5: Write the sales copy

Shape your offer using a proven framework - from your one-sentence call to adventure to the three questions your participant is already asking themselves. If you're just getting started, draft an email. If you're ready, build the full sales page.

Step 6: Test your offer

Hit send. Start with one person - the most likely yes. Set an early bird deadline, name your minimum, and follow up with genuine curiosity. The first run is research, not a finished product.

Step 7: Get feedback

Use a demand validation survey before you launch, or a post-workshop feedback survey after you run it. Close the loop. The second run is where your workshop becomes a real product.

By the End, You’ll Leave With:

  • A filtered, specific idea with a clear before and after
  • Your crux - the promise worth their time, in one sentence
  • A container: a real date, length, format, and rhythm
  • A draft email or sales page ready to send
  • A prototype and a plan to test your offer this week

Plus: a 50+ page workbook and resource library with worksheets, frameworks, and AI prompts to support every step of your development.

** Special Bonus ** Personal feedback from Marie on your drafts. After the sprint, send Marie your crux, your sales copy, or your workshop outline and she will give you direct feedback. Real eyes on your real work. Included for all sprint participants.

Early Bird Price: $295 through July 1st | Full Price: $395

What Past Participants Are Saying

"I have all the tools I need. The sprint pulls it all out and the AI prompts can help flesh it out more beautifully. So grateful for that."
- Felipe W.

"I can't unsee that I can move quickly and all of these ideas can become something that finally are outside of me." - Marni S.

"You hit the right note with details that made it feel doable no matter where I was in the process or how many workshops are in my head." - Marni S.

"A fantastic structure. That really felt what I was missing - and it was also mirroring exactly the way I would want to deliver a workshop myself." - Patrick F.

FAQ

What does the Workshop Design Sprint cost?

  • Early Bird Price: $295 (Before July 1st - Save $100!)
  • Full Price: $395

Do I have to have an idea for my course or workshop to participate? It's great if you do, but not a requirement. You'll still get enormous value even if you're not sure what your course will be about. The Sprint will help you understand everything it takes to build one so you can decide with confidence.

Do you offer refunds? Participants can request a refund until one week before the start of the workshop. This is to respect the limited capacity of the Sprint and to ensure that if someone isn't able to attend, we can offer that spot to someone else.

Will there be a recording? There will not be a recording shared after the sprint. This workshop is about real-time participation and learning by doing. Participants will receive follow-up resources to support their work.

Do I have to attend live? Yes, Workshop Design Sprint requires you to attend live on Zoom and participate. The Sprint is designed to help you start building your course or workshop in real time, right now, not later.

How many people will be in the sprint? The Workshop Design Sprint is capped at 20 participants. Small by design so there's real discussion, real peer connection, and enough space for everyone to get their idea heard and worked on.

I already have an online course or workshop. Is this for me? The sprint is geared toward people earlier in the process, so you may already know some of what we cover. That said, if you're looking for fresh perspective, a chance to revisit the foundations, or simply to connect with others doing this kind of work you're welcome to join.
