Preconvention Intensive

The prefestival will take place from 27.-29.10.2025 at Keplergymnasium. 

The difference to the main festival is the size of the classes and that we especially invite some renown teachers from Europe. 
We limit the amount of participants, so that we can create a great learning environment for everyone. 

You will have the option to choose from different ticket types: 

• Sign up only for the evening workshops, or for a full prefestival experience. 
• Please choose the correct type: Aerial/Acro or both
  
• Please respect that when the aerial categories are full, we can't accept more participants.

Acro teachers: 
Kerstin from Berlin (specialist for standing acro & group acro)
Tanja & Ales from Slovenia (specialists for l-base & crazy washing machines)

Aerial teachers: 
Ariadna Vendelova from Czech Republic (specialist for aerial silks) (27.&28.10.)
Sarah Goody from Berlin (specialist for anatomy for aerialists, research on different apparatuses and aerial rope) (29.10.)

All workshops will be structured as 2x 3h blocks per day with a long break in between.
The workshops aim at people with experience, they are not intended to cater beginners. 

Morning workshops: 
10:00-13:00

Evening workshops: 
17:00-20:00

Prerequisites for Ariadna's aerial workshop: Basic climbs, hip-key, basic foot locks, comfortable with inversions/straddling up in the air. Being able to stay and work on aerial silks for at least 3 continuous minutes.

Prerequisites for the acro workshops: 
Intermediate: Comfortable l-base star, having tried l-base h2h/f2h, 2high or tried other standing acro moves like high bird or sides star, knowing at least 1 washing machine
Advanced workshops: holding 10-sec standing h2h, walking & squatting in 2high, familiar with f2h tempos

Please let us know your experience level in the registration form, based on these pre-reqs.

Please be aware that you don't sign up to individual teachers and workshops, but to a whole festival. This means, that if one of the teachers get sick, the festival still happens and we look for replacement teachers to keep it happen.
