My June Supperclub in Falmouth

I'm delighted to be holding another supperclub at my private home in Falmouth, overlooking Flushing and the Fal River. It's such a pleasure to welcome people into my home and host these memorable events.

About Me

Since moving to Cornwall in January 2023, I've enjoyed slowly becoming part of the local food scene here. Formerly Head of Cookery at Truro School, I  now work as a private chef, cookery teacher, and food writer.

Before relocating to Cornwall, I ran a series of hugely popular monthly supper clubs in London, which built up a loyal following for their convivial style and flavour-packed menus. During the pandemic, I partnered with Fidelio café in Clerkenwell, London, to deliver the food alongside intimate classical music concerts in-between lockdowns. 

I am also the author of four cookbooks, including Foolproof One-Pot and Foolproof VeggIe One-Pot

I'm passionate about seasonal Cornish produce and love how close I feel to the ingredients I'm now cooking with in this part of the country; it's incredible to know that they've been grown merely a matter of miles away! My cooking is unpretentious, vibrant, and full of flavour, focusing more on content than swirls and foams. I always aim to be guided by the best ingredients available with a strong focus on Cornish produce.

What to Expect

Enjoy a welcome canapé on arrival and then home made bread followed by four delicious courses of local & seasonal produce @ £55pp (BYO)

The menu

-Canapé

-Rosemary focaccia and flavoured butter

-Grilled courgettes with labne, preserved lemon, mint, Aleppo chilli butter, pine nuts and fresh herbs with a courgette flower fritter & date molasses

-Roast supreme of chicken, olive oil braised leeks and fennel with barley, white beans and gremolata

-Cheese and home made crackers

-Blueberry pavlova, vanilla crème anglaise, toasted almonds

*Spaces are limited to 12 diners only - book early to secure your seat by Saturday 20th June 

***Cancellations before 19th June will receive a full refund. Any cancellations between 19th June and 24th June will be subject to 50% of ticket price cancellation fee or the option to transfer to an alternative date, if possible. Any cancellations later that 24th June will be non-refundable. I will, of course aim to sell tickets after any cancellation. If successful, you would be refunded the full amount. 

NB: Due to my supper clubs taking place in my own home kitchen and its inevitable limitations, I am unable to cater for vegans and those with special dietary requirements.
