111: Natural Fibre Basketry

One of the most popular courses ever offered at the Albany Summer School, returns in 2024 due to overwhelming demand from students. Tutor Maureen James will be introducing three methods of basketry, Coiling, Twining and Free Form. Once students have learned these techniques, they will be encouraged to us them to produce their own individually crafted piece/s.

By the end of the course they should be proficient in all methods of basketry.
