136: Plein Air – Landscapes in Pastels

Plein Air is a growing movement, and observation painting helps you to see true colours in light and shadow.

Sarah Pondevie will guide you through the complexities of a landscape with a combination of demonstrations, exercises, and individual instruction. You will learn how to set up for plein air painting, prepare your painting surface, compose with limited focus, distinguish value, shape and colour and paint outdoors.
