Art Club: Let's Get Christmassy!

Join local artist Alexandra Oliver for a relaxed and creative evening of painting and socialising at New Street Market in Woodbridge.

Let's get Christmassy with a still life! This month we will be drawing inspiration from with a cosy festive arrangement inspired by the season. You’ll be gently guided through making your own acrylic painting, using a real still life setup for inspiration. Think winter fruits, foliage, candles, and a touch of sparkle to capture the warmth of the season. You’ll create a painting you can bring out each Christmas and hang up to enjoy, or even gift to a friend as something handmade and special. The event itself also makes a lovely experience gift, a creative evening to share with someone!

This session is open to everyone, whether you're completely new to painting or simply looking for a midweek creative boost, this is a sociable space to unwind, get creative, and maybe even make a few new friends while you're at it.

Come on your own or bring a friend, there’ll be good music, drinks from the bar, and plenty of opportunity to chat, connect and enjoy the process as you paint.

How you interpret the theme is completely up to you, no pressure, no perfection, just a fun, welcoming space to express yourself and take home your own finished piece of artwork!

Included:
• Canvas board to take home
• Acrylic paints, brushes, palettes and all materials
• Still life setup and printed reference images - feel free to bring a personal festive object to include!
• Light guidance and encouragement throughout
