Join local artist Alexandra Oliver for a relaxed and creative evening of painting and socialising at New Street Market in Woodbridge...

This session is open to everyone, whether you're completely new to painting or just looking for a midweek creative boost, this is a sociable space to unwind, get creative, and maybe even make a few new friends while you're at it!

Come on your own or bring a friend - there'll be good music, drinks from the bar, and plenty of opportunity to chat, connect and enjoy the process as you paint.

You’ll be gently guided through creating your own acrylic painting, working from a choice of reference images (or you can bring your own if there’s something personal you'd like to create).

Each session will have a different theme but how you interpret it is completely up to you. No pressure, no perfection - just a fun, welcoming space to express yourself and take home your own finished piece of artwork!

Upcoming Dates:

• Wednesday 15th July: Summer Landscape
  • You’ll be guided through painting a landscape, learning how to mix colours and build depth. There will be image references,  though you’re welcome to bring along a photograph of a place or view you feel drawn to if you’d like to work from something personal. 

• Wednesday 19th August: Greek Goddess!
  • For this special Art Club session, we’ll be joined by a live model inspired by the theme of a Grecian goddess. You’ll be guided through painting the figure and face, with a focus on expressive mark-making, colour, and capturing the atmosphere of the pose. A special chance to work from life in a relaxed, social setting! 
  • **Please note: this special session includes a live model and larger A3 canvas boards. I’ve kept the ticket price at the usual £25, with an optional £5 model and material contribution at checkout for anyone who’d like to help support the extra cost.

• Wednesday 23rd September: Landscape 
  • You’ll be guided through painting a landscape, learning how to mix colours and build depth. There will be image references,  though you’re welcome to bring along a photograph of a place or view you feel drawn to if you’d like to work from something personal. 

Included:
• Canvas board to take home
• Acrylic paints, brushes, palettes and all materials
• Printed reference images, or bring your own
• Light guidance and encouragement throughout
