Mixed Media Collage Day - Celebrating Summer - Sunday 19 July, 10-4 (£70/£40 half day)

Learn to create pop-up style spring artwork using Derwent Inktense painting on thick paper plus tissue papers. Based on mixed-media collage pages from my nature journals, this crafty, arty day is split into two parts. Come for just the morning, just the afternoon or the entire day!

10:00–12:30: Morning session - Painting spring flowers in Derwent Inktense pencils. Learn to paint a selection of spring flowers in Derwent Inktense on thick 320 gsm Khadi paper. Learn ways to simplify flowers into an interesting design while maintaining their essence.

12:30–1:30: Lunch break, or feel free to carry on working. Bring a packed lunch!

1:30–4:00: Afternoon session - Tissue papers and pop-up paintings! Either fill in around your painting with tissue paper or create a new tissue paper background and put your spring flowers over the top to make them pop! Those joining just for the afternoon will use a selection of paper and pressed flower materials (provided) to join in with this.

Beginner friendly, tea and biscuits and all materials included, plenty of free parking onsite.
