We are thrilled to announce the second edition of the ALA Art & Literature Festival (ALF), following the success of our inaugural event in 2023. Last year's festival primarily celebrated the Indian diaspora, particularly the Kerala community, but this year, we are excited to expand our horizons. ALF 2024 will bring together diverse voices from not only other Indian diasporas but also non-Indian communities, offering a truly cross-cultural literary experience.

This year’s theme, "Transcending Borders, Connecting Cultures," celebrates the voices of diasporic communities worldwide. The event will feature notable writers such as Aminatta Forna, Balachandran Chullikkad, Vijay Balan, Sunil P. Elayidom and Pramod Payyanur.

On the art side of the festival, we are proud to present a special drama based on a story by the renowned Indian writer Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. This production will be directed by the celebrated Pramod Payyannur, a well-known author and director from India, adding a unique cultural dimension to this year's festival.
