With enormous regret, we have had to take the difficult but right decision to postpone MITCAR this Sunday at Kedleston Hall. We will aim to re-run the event later in the year, tentatively pencilled in for 18^th September, location to be confirmed.

Despite how the weather may look today, we are now forecast very heavy rain on Saturday which is likely to remain in the ground through to Sunday morning, and having spoken at length with the National Trust grounds team at Kedleston we all share the concern that our cars may get stuck or, even worse, potentially damaged – not something any of us want to risk.

Tickets will be refunded over the coming days automatically, but in the meantime please accept our enormous apologies for any disruption to your planned weekends, but we hope you understand that making a decision today rather than risking it is more helpful for all concerned.

Admission price £10 per Italian car.
NOTE non-Italian cars will need to park in the public parking area. MITCAR’s allocated space in an attractive space in front of the house is for display of Italian Cars only which will be parked by marque – ie Alfa, Abarth, Fiat, Maserati etc all in groups. Our MITCAR marshals will direct you on site.

£10 permits all occupants admission to the event and the extensive grounds, café/restaurant and shop. Additional catering will also be available.

OPTIONAL admission to house will be at a special rate £5 per person, payable on the day, at the Hall's ticket office, on production of the MITCAR event programme given to you on entry to the event.

Picnics permitted, no barbecues, dogs allowed in the grounds on a leash. Kedleston Hall is a no smoking site.

ACCESS TO VENUE is ONLY from the main entrance on the Kedleston Road north of the site between Quarndon and Weston Underwood. 

DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 9.45am as the gate WILL NOT BE OPEN and there is no facility to queue on that main road. It will be open for 10am. House opens at 11am.

This is designed as a relaxing day. There’s plenty of space, no need to be there very early.

EXIT from site will be marked, it is one way, leading to the West of the site.
