Official launch of Alfie's Squad in Sheffield
You're invited to the Sheffield launch of Alfie’s Squad
We’re delighted to invite you to the official launch of Alfie’s Squad in Sheffield, offering peer support to children, young people and their families who have lost a loved one to suicide.
Whether you work in public health, youth services, education, policing, mental health, or other key services, with your help, we can reach those families in need.
The session will include:
- An introduction to the charity Alfie’s Squad
- The impact being made for the whole family bereaved by suicide
- How you can play a part in referring families for support
- Your chance to ask questions, network and discuss future partnerships
- Lunch will be provided, while you have a chance to network
Already established in Liverpool and Bolton, Alfie’s Squad has been welcoming families from across Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester since 2023. Thanks to support from Sheffield United Community Foundation, that support will be available to families in South Yorkshire from Thursday 17th September 2026.
Please RSVP by booking your place and we'll see you in July.
