This year’s AGM is a chance to see your support in action. We will look back at A2A’s 25-year history, honor the people who made our success possible, and host inspiring guest speakers sharing about the role the A2A Collaborative has played in the region.

Business Meeting Agenda & Notification of Special Business

1. Call to Order and Approval of Agenda of the Business Meeting

2. Approval of Minutes from the 2025 AGM

3. Special Business: Repeal and Replace of General Operating By-law. To consider and, if thought fit, to pass a Special Resolution to repeal the existing By-laws and adopt a new By-law No. 1. The proposed draft aims to modernize the Corporation’s governance in alignment with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Key areas of update include:

• Provisions regarding membership conditions and categories.
• Board composition, including director qualifications and terms of office.
• Refinements to meeting procedures and officer roles.

The full draft text of the proposed By-law will be circulated to all members by April 16th, 2026.

4. Presentation of Financial Statements for Year Ending Dec 31, 2025

Proxy Voting: Members entitled to vote who are unable to attend in person may appoint a proxyholder to attend and vote on their behalf. A proxy form will be sent to all registered members, along with the full by-law text, on April 16. To be valid, completed proxies must be received by the Secretary no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Financial Statements: The Board is currently finalizing the year-end statements. In accordance with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, these statements will be sent to all members via email at least 5 days prior to the meeting.

Eligibility: To vote, you must be a member in good standing. You may sign up/renew here or at the door.
