It is fundamental to the Alice Ruggles Trust that we highlight positive work and promote best practice in the stalking sector to try and prevent what happened to Alice happening again.

Each autumn we hold a conference where we bring together criminal justice, health service and third sector professionals with academic criminologists and psychologists. We believe that forging strong links between practitioners and academics is vital to improve strategies for protecting stalking victims and managing perpetrators.

This year, in response to participants’ feedback, we are holding our conference over two days, on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th November.

There will be the opportunity to listen to a range of speakers exploring key topics for the sector, as well as attending a choice of workshops, panels and discussion groups which will provide a valuable opportunity to connect with others working within the sector.

For those unable to join us in person, every workshop, panel, and keynote speech will be available to watch online.

As part of our commitment to celebrate the sector, we will be holding the inaugural Alice Ruggles Trust Awards on the evening of 6th November showcasing the brilliant projects, partnership work, and prevention innovations across stalking.

Tickets

We strive to ensure attendance is possible for anyone who wishes to join us and have a variety of ticket options available, including online. If you are joining us for the full two days, your ticket includes overnight accommodation on Wednesday 6th November and meals.

Travel

For those attendees considering travelling to Leicester on Wednesday moring or Tuesday night, registration will open at 9:30am with opening speeches at 10:30am. If you feel you need to travel the night before and wish to book a toom for Tuesday 5th November, please get in touch at info@aliceugglestrus.org and we will help you to arrange this.
