Alice Ruggles Trust Conference 2025

Each autumn we hold a conference to bring together criminal justice, health service and charity sector professionals with academic criminologists and psychologists. We believe that forging strong links between practitioners and academics is vital in order to improve strategies for preventing stalking victims and managing perpetrators.

As before, our two-day conference will be held in person and online.

For those attending in person there is plenty of time for formal interaction both at the conference and at the awards dinner on the first evening.

This year’s conference has a new bigger venue to ensure that we can accommodate all of those that want to be part of this fantastic event.

The theme this year is Smoothing the journey. At every stage in a stalking victim’s journey there is potential to improve how we support and protect victims themselves and for more effective interventions with perpetrators. At this year’s conference we will share best practice and the latest research at every stage in the process from the early development of stalking behaviours through to the most serious cases.
