Level 2 in-person - Tuesday 15th July - 9am - 3:30pm

**Please note you must have completed your Level 1 in the last 10 years to attend Level 2**

Level 2 is a natural follow on from the Level 1, a fun and relaxed session for those wanting to increase their Makaton skill base, you will learn:

Stage 3 signs and symbols – Outside world/animals/fruit/vehicles/actions/pronouns

Stage 4 signs and symbols – school/work/objects/people/events/activities/pronouns/special location

Additional vocab signs and symbols – medical/support/people/personal care

Research support for signs and symbols use

Makaton symbol design themes

Teaching procedures

Signing for comprehension and expression

Practical applications of Makaton

Sequencing events

Using signs and symbols, developing techniques, position, movement and direction

FURTHER INFORMATION:

The training begins at 9am, so please arrive at 8:50am to get settled. Lunch is 30 minutes, from 12pm - 12:30pm so please bring your own lunch with you and your own thermos mug/water bottle. Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied!
