Welcome to the 6th Kernow BSLM Lifestyle Medicine Conference. 

This conference will be of interest to anyone working in the fields of Health + Social Care and Wellbeing. We invite you to join us for inspirational talks and interactive sessions from the world of Lifestyle Medicine.

There has never been a more important time for the "pillars" of Lifestyle Medicine - healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, managing stress, connecting with others and minimising harmful substances and our conference title "One Health" encourages us to blend this framework with themes of People and Planet, Equity in Healthcare and looking after ourselves as well as others. 

Delegates will hear from internationally, nationally and locally renowned speakers including; Prof Robert Thomas (Lifestyle measures improving cancer outcomes), Dr William Bird MBE (Healthy Communities), Prof Mike Tipton (Cold water immersion - kill or cure?). Dr Sheena Fraser (Gut microbiome), Dr Wolfgang Marx (Evidence around Ultra-processed food) , Rachel Wigglesworth (Health in Cornwall), Paul Critchley (Active Cornwall), Manda Brookman (Contagious Change) Emma Rowse (Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum), Dr Beth Chapman (CAMHS goes wild) and many local speakers sharing the amazing work going on here in Cornwall.

Inspired all day by views of the sea we will have plenty of networking opportunities and share a delicious whole food plant-based lunch.
