All of Us Poetry Workshop - Poetry Feedback Session

Join Joe Spivey, Oliver Clifford, and our lovely attendees to explore poetry techniques and forms in a supportive environment.

This session we'll:

- Give an extended opportunity to share your poetry for feedback (the feedback is optional! Please be mindful to only bring one or two poems due to time restraints and supporting everyone else present)

Rules for the session

1. Where possible, please email us your poem(s) in advance, so that we can share them on the screen for other attendees to see

2. There is no obligation to receive feedback, and we recommend that if you share a poem that you suggest what areas you'd like feedback on

3. Please try not to be defensive to feedback (remember it's all subjective), and similarly,

4. If you're giving feedback on someone else's work please be mindful to not be critical to the point of being overly negative or rude

5. Depending on how many people would like to share, we will offer limits on how much time or how many poems each person can share. If you've shared recently in a previous session, you may be asked to wait until everyone who hasn't done so can also share some work.

We are very keen to design our sessions to be as accessible to all groups as possible. Please contact us via the email in our linktree should you have anything specific you'd like to discuss.

Our sessions are held in a private and quiet room, and we try to keep to our established timings.

The front entrance to Imagine Leeds on Blenheim Terrace has seven steps leading up to the front door. The accessible entrance to the building is on Back Blenheim Terrace. If you require blue badge parking for this event, please contact us directly, and cc Simon Dixon to pre-arrange it on simon.dixon@ourfutureleeds.org

Please note there is no general car parking available at the venue.

Our sessions are always designed to be free to all - although donations are welcome.
