About the Performers
Denise Leigh came to prominence after winning Channel 4's "Operatunity" in 2003, a competition coordinated by Channel 4 and English National Opera to find an amateur singer and place them in a professional operatic production. Since then, Denise has performed all over the world, most notably at the London Paralympics opening ceremony in 2012, the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for Classic FM live, and for members of the Royal Family on multiple occasions.
Together with her accompanist, Stefan Andrusyschyn, Denise was invited to audition for Britain's Got Talent, resulting in over 30 million online views. The duo became a firm favourite with audiences and bookmakers alike, and made it through to the live semi-finals. Stefan, himself an award-winning classical accordionist and accompanist, has won multiple British national classical accordion titles, and has been successful in competitions in Eastern Europe and Switzerland. He as performed for the late Duke of Westminster, in a recital at Downing Street, and in recitals all over the UK and abroad.
Denise and Stefan will be joined at All Saints by Molly Joynson, a recent graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Molly studied under Teresa Cahill & Helen Yorke and obtained a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in Vocal Performance, having previously completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts. Molly's recent roles include Belinda in Errollyn Wallen's Dido's Ghost, Lucia in scenes from Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia (Trinity Laban Opera), Iris in Handel's Semele (Blackheath Halls Opera); she also appeared as a featured soloist in
Stephen Hough's Song Cycles as part of Trinity Laban's Keyboard & Voice Festival.
