About the Performers

Founded in 2024, Omnium Ensemble is a choir comprising the finest emerging professional singers from various backgrounds, including Oxford University, Royal Holloway, and the Genesis Sixteen programme. Led by Olivia Earl, Omnium Ensemble seek to be a force for good in the choral world by spreading awareness of the benefits of singing with others, supporting the work of living composers, and encouraging healthy singing and promoting wellbeing. Moreover, the Ensemble strives to create a platform to showcase the work of living composers at the highest standard. The singers have recently held highly successful concerts and workshops in London and Oxford, supported by six highly-celebrated composers, including Cecilia McDowall and Sir John Rutter.

About the Programme

Omnium Ensemble are inviting their audience on a choral journey through the seasons, offering moments of peacefulness and reflection, as well as opportunities to be uplifted and join in the singing themselves (see below). The programme features well-known classics by Byrd, Elgar, and Rutter, as well as uncovering new favourites by composers such as Judith Weir, Will Harmer, and Frank Ticheli.

Workshop: Calling All Singers!

We're thrilled that Omnium Ensemble will also be hosting a workshop for (local) singers, old and young, earlier in the day (2-4pm). The group believe that everyone should have the opportunity to sing, and looking forward to welcoming you to their special afternoon choral workshop. At the workshop, some of the ensemble's singers will be sharing their top tips for singing healthily, as well as teaching participants Thomas Tallis's 'If Ye Love Me' and Judith Weir's 'My Guardian Angel'.

Workshop participants will be invited to perform alongside the ensemble at the evening concert!
