Set in a gym, where beach-ready bodies take shape, a merry war starts to emerge between the genders. Amid clanging weights, dedicated reps, and bitter rivalry, some of them start to hate (or is it love?), and some of them start to love (or is it hate?).

ABOUT ALBION:

In the midst of the lockdowns in 2020, we emerged as 2m Theatre. Experiencing the ruins of the performing arts world, we realised we had to adapt and fight to keep the art form we love alive. We started performing in communal gardens, bringing safe theatre to local communities to bring people together and change how we saw our normal everyday spaces.

Since then, we have evolved into Albion Theatre – making sharp and high-paced plays for a modern audience.  By working with communities and in in communal spaces, we are taking away the barriers that face so many from accessing theatre.

All purchases for show at the Alma now have a suggested donation to the theatre and inhouse company of £2.00

The Alma Theatre has been serving the community for 25 years and has never been the recipient of ACE or other funding and were unable to secure the Covid Arts Recovery Fund. We have been offering reduced rates, preferential box office splits and extended promo support to aid the recovery from the past year and a half. Your help will enable us to continue bringing fantastic stories to your local theatre. 50% of your donation will go to the Alma Theatre, and 50% to our inhouse company, Schoolhouse Productions.
