A show about feeling like an adult and a baby at the same time, and how sometimes you just need to grow up and eat your vegetables.

This newly devised performance by Penny Drop Productions navigates the realities of ageing, independence, and perceptions of women alone... but we promise it’s fun! With dancing, driving lessons and dinner plates, Penny Drop can’t wait to meet you.

Penny Drop Productions is a women-led theatre company that explore the fun and the uncanny through devised work. This is their debut outing as a company.

The Alma Theatre has been serving the community for 25 years and has never been the recipient of ACE or other funding and were unable to secure the Covid Arts Recovery Fund. We have been offering reduced rates, preferential box office splits and extended promo support to aid the recovery from the past year and a half. Your help will enable us to continue bringing fantastic stories to your local theatre. 50% of your donation will go to the Alma Theatre, and 50% to our inhouse company, Schoolhouse Productions.
