Three Kings by Stephen Beresford

When Patrick is just eight years old, his absent father returns unexpectedly for a brief but memorable encounter. Years later - recalling that meeting and the revelations that followed - Patrick traces the events of his father’s life. 

Originally written for Andrew Scott as a part of the Old Vic: In Camera series, Three Kings by Stephen Beresford is a heartbreaking and hilarious solo play about fathers and sons, the gifts and burdens of inheritance, and the unfathomable puzzle of human relationships.

Their last play Battle Cry won Best Performance for Steve Cowley and gained other award nominations between 2021-2023. They are now is early pre-production stages with Dougie Brimson (GREEN STREET) on a short film version of Battle Cry, with feature length and TV adaptations in discussion.
