Jaleelah Galbraith: That's What She Said
5pm Sunday - Special Work-in-Progress Showing
Since childhood, Jal has been a dreamer and a chronic over sharer. Jal's loved musical theatre from the moment she heard Judy Garland sing about rainbows or maybe when she first saw Michelle Pfeiffer straddle a ladder and sing about Cool Riders. If you like niche tv show references, show tunes, sarcasm and want to watch someone who is a show off yet has imposter syndrome then this show might be for you. Jal also loves a double entendre so spend an hour being entertained by her head and mouth. That’s what she said.
This is a work-in-progress (WIP) performance.
Jal is a Bristol based stand up that creates comedy which is honest, endearing and warm that asks the big questions about life - but she has no answers because she gets caught up on the little things.
★★★★★ Feminist Fringe - "Jal owns the stage with the confidence of a veteran performer and the enthusiasm of a young comedian."
★★★★ Fringe Review "true comedy gold"
★★★★ Broadway Baby "Galbraith offers consistent witty and laugh-out-loud moments... She’s clearly a skilled storyteller"
