For the past year, the fiendish souls of Boogie Nachts Theatre have been tantalising audiences with the terrifying hilarity of Terror in Turtlenecks – live readings of shocking short stories and horrifying yarns. They return but have set aside their tome of terror for three half-hour plays that will tickle your funny bone and chill your spine in THE ENTURTLING – an unforgettable night of feartre!

THRILL to a heart-pounding ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE in a fast-talking 1940s screwball comedy!

COWER in fear as a 17th-century village is struck by a bullet made of PLAGUE!

GASP in horror as a bookish wannabe murderer POPS HIS CHERRY!

Three Tales of Terror and/or Hilarity, each more terrible than the last (running order depending)!

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Boogie Nachts Theatre are a dynamic and ambitious Bristol-based theatre company focussed on new writing, particularly of a horror bent. Since forming in 2023 they have staged two productions, THE DEMETER (2023, 2024) and Rishikesh (2024). They also host Terror in Turtlenecks, a semi-regular evening of horror storytelling and short story recitals.

The Alma Theatre has been serving the community for 25 years and has never been the recipient of ACE or other funding and were unable to secure the Covid Arts Recovery Fund. We have been offering reduced rates, preferential box office splits and extended promo support to aid the recovery from the past year and a half. Your help will enable us to continue bringing fantastic stories to your local theatre. 50% of your donation will go to the Alma Theatre, and 50% to our inhouse company, Schoolhouse Productions.
