I Met All My Friends on Dating Apps by Jess Andrews
8pm Wednesday - Friday (Free Q&A following Friday's show)
Married, in her 30s, and dating for the very first time…
J likes bees, ice cream and the colour green. And, tonight she has a date. Join her while she gets ready, as she shares stories of entering the world of online dating while happily married in an effort to understand if polyamorous is something that she is or polyamory is just something that she does.
I Met All My Friends on Dating Apps is a solo show reflecting on the "friend zone", connection and confidence after one year of pursuing consensual non-monogamy. Part spoken word, TedTalk and a chat with your pal. Expect: indecision about what to wear, dating app data vis, and a Brummy sock puppet.
After debuting as a work-in-progress to a sell-out run at A Pinch of VAULT (Feb 2024) and following a successful Camden Fringe (Aug 2024), I Met All My Friends on Dating Apps is adjusting its location settings and getting ready to match with venues across the UK.
