Beansville & Pressure Cooker: Improv Double Bill!

8pm Friday

Escape the 9-5 grind with laugh-out-loud comedy all about working in the modern world! A double bill of improvised workplace comedy featuring local Bristol talent Beansville and Pressure Cooker.

In Beansville presents: The Workplace, it’s another day at the office…or maybe even that other weird place you once worked. With all of the romances, rivalries, politics and performance issues you’d expect, all made up on the spot. Watch the pilot episode of an improvised workplace comedy based on your suggestions.

In Pressure Cooker, step into our restaurant, where the experience is different every night! Our performers take ingredients from the audience’s suggestions to create recipes for funny, silly, and relatable stories. You’ll see how the front-of-house, back-of-house, and customers deal with wildly unpredictable situations and character tales, serving up all-you-can-eat laughs.

About the Company
Beansville is a Bristol-based improv group specialising in longform narrative improv. Performing since 2020, Beansville are known for storytelling, genre, solid puns, and only occasionally descending into total chaos.

Pressure Cooker is the improvised restaurant show from the cast of The Bish Bosh Bash and the creators of Tales of Adventure."Drawing on everything the audience throws at them, the [Pressure Cooker] cast craft hilarious, fast-paced scenes that feel both spontaneous and strangely familiar. The chemistry between performers is undeniable, and the way they bounce off audience suggestions makes for moments of pure comedic alchemy.” - Bristol 24/7
