This gay age-gap romance with an edge finds that there are many kinds of addiction.
Adam and Mike, meet on a dating site – Adam is 25, Mike 50s. Adam seems to be after a 'sugar daddy' and we find he's addicted to opioids. He's renting to pay for his habit. Mike, a very rich financier, invites him to stay and, after a suicide attempt, helps him get clean.
But the younger observes him and accuses him of being a just as much of a junkie - addicted to making money for the sake of it. He offers to return the favour and help Mike get clean of his addiction on a holiday in his villa in the French mountains where he's not allowed to touch a computer or phone. The relationship develops – they sing a song together – and each finds out so much more about himself.
