As Good As God Loves Them by Lewis Cook
8pm Tuesday - Saturday
1655. England is under the Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell, but the scars of civil war remain. In a remote village in the wilds of the Derbyshire countryside, bubonic plague has inexplicably broken out. Desperate to curtail the spread, the village has cut itself off from its neighbours in a
self-imposed isolation.
As supplies dwindle and tensions fray, parish rector Clarence Peele struggles to hold the community together. That is until a stranger arrives at the village gates - begging to be let in.
Written by Lewis Cook and directed by Naledi Withers, Boogie Nachts Theatre presents this tense and eerie tale about the unknown valleys of doubt that live within us all, from the team behind The Demeter and Rishikesh.
