Danny Ward: The Holiday
Presented by Chuckle Busters
Before he was an award winning stand up comedian, Danny worked on (almost) everyone’s favourite Christmas movie The Holiday. Twenty years later Danny found himself travelling to LA after a heart break.
Come and hear all about one of the largest grossing films of all time, Danny’s trip Stateside and what they had in common. The Ish Comedy Award Panel Prize winning blockbuster hit of the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.
“A rather lovely piece of storytelling ... witty, well-constructed hour, told with a great deal of self-deprecating charm... executed with a deft touch, authentically heartfelt... elegant and funny… exceptional” ★★★★ Chortle
“Wow, just wow! A very special show... A talented writer and storyteller, I was absolutely blown away and felt privileged to be part of the audience. Danny’s performance is incredibly heartfelt and emotional and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place as he opened up about some very personal moments. My must-see of this year’s Fringe!” ★★★★★ One4Review
