One minute you pop into hospital for a routine procedure and the next minute somebody slips and accidentally pierces your heart!  Then they try to fix your heart and accidentally pierce your lung. What an afternoon!

When the angel of death is just around the corner waiting by the water cooler in a stylish pair of Raybans, there’s only one thing for it: Get up, get away and tell that story! Well, as soon as you’ve learned how to walk again…

Nigel Osner “the snake-hipped love child of Noel Coward and Eileen Atkins” (North West End) looks back at 25 years of performing, including that close encounter with death which nearly ended everything! He’s aided by a colourful cast of characters, including an actor who’s lost his mojo, an ageing vampire with false fangs --- and even an owl.

Still Ticking! is packed with laughs, pathos and original songs. Nigel, once a practising barrister and Ministry of Justice employee, is now a writer, lyricist and performer appearing around the country. He is the ultimate 'one who got away' and he lives to spin a bloody good yarn.

Praise for Still Ticking

“Osner’s show is pure entertainment and yet perhaps we do learn a little, not least that older people are more confident and are bolder. Osner is the perfect example of this.” London Pub Theatres Magazine

“Osner is a performer who quickly connects with an audience ---Still Ticking! soon finds its way into your heart." North West End UK

“The show is, like its creator, quixotic, surprising, and packed with personality. It is a paean to growing old disgracefully --- Catch it if you can” The Reviews Hub
