On the day of a wedding two very different fathers find themselves unexpectedly brought together, forcing them to confront their pasts, their families, and what it truly means to be a parent. Blending humour with heartfelt emotion, Suspension explores love, forgiveness, and second chances against the backdrop of one of the city’s most famous landmarks.

Suspension by Catherine Johnson is a warm, witty, and moving comedy-drama set around Bristol’s iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge.
